Restaurant
Trèsind Studio
A three-Michelin-star Indian tasting-menu restaurant on Palm Jumeirah, reimagining regional Indian cooking with produce sourced from UAE farms.
A long-running contemporary Japanese restaurant and lounge in DIFC's Gate Village, serving robata grills, sushi and sharing plates to a lively crowd.
Good to know
Zuma has been a fixture of the Dubai International Financial Centre for years, and its restaurant and lounge in Gate Village still draw a busy, well-dressed crowd. The concept is izakaya-inspired: dishes are designed for sharing and arrive as they are ready, from the sushi counter, the robata grill and the main kitchen.
Expect sashimi, maki, grilled skewers and signature plates such as miso-marinated black cod, alongside an extensive sake and cocktail list in the lounge. The atmosphere becomes livelier later in the evening as the lounge fills, and a Yashoku night brunch runs on Wednesdays. Reservations are made online through SevenRooms, and weekends book up quickly. The restaurant is non-smoking, while the lounge allows smoking and is restricted to guests aged 21 and over in the evening.
