Attraction
Burj Khalifa
The world's tallest building, rising 828 metres over Downtown Dubai, with observation decks on levels 124, 125 and 148 open to ticketed visitors.
A 150-metre picture-frame landmark in Zabeel Park whose glass-walled sky bridge looks over old Dubai on one side and the modern skyline on the other.
Good to know
Opened by Dubai Municipality on New Year's Day 2018, the Dubai Frame is exactly what its name suggests: two towers joined by a bridge, forming a gigantic gilded frame 150 metres tall in Zabeel Park. A fast glass lift carries visitors to the enclosed sky deck, where one side faces Deira, Karama and the older districts and the other faces Sheikh Zayed Road's towers.
The ground-floor Old Dubai gallery uses sound and projections to trace the city's growth, and a Future Dubai exhibition on the way out imagines the city in 2050. It is a short taxi ride from the creek, and Al Jafiliya Metro station is the nearest stop. Enter through Gate 4 of the park, and buy timed tickets online to avoid queues.
