Why we recommend it
Pierchic sits at the very end of a long wooden pier stretching into the Gulf from Jumeirah Al Qasr at Madinat Jumeirah, which gives it one of the most romantic settings of any restaurant in Dubai. Water surrounds the dining room and terrace, and Burj Al Arab is in clear view along the coast.
The Michelin Guide lists it for Italian cooking, with seafood at the heart of the menu. It is firmly in special-occasion territory on price. Lunch and dinner are served daily, but sunset is the time to aim for, so request a terrace table when booking and reserve well ahead in the winter months. Access is through the Madinat Jumeirah resort, so allow time to walk or take the resort's transport to the pier.
