Restaurant
Disfrutar
Three-Michelin-star restaurant in the Eixample run by former elBulli chefs Oriol Castro, Eduard Xatruch and Mateu Casañas, serving long, playful tasting menus.
A tiny, bottle-lined Poble Sec bar open since 1914, famous for montaditos topped with premium tinned seafood and assembled at the counter.
Good to know
Quimet & Quimet has been pouring drinks in Poble Sec since 1914 and has no kitchen at all. Instead, everything is built at the counter from top-quality conservas, the tinned and preserved seafood Spain takes very seriously: cockles, anchovies, tuna belly and more, often piled onto small toasts called montaditos.
The space is tiny, with walls of bottles from floor to ceiling, and most people eat standing up, so come early or expect to wait. Order a few montaditos and a glass of vermouth or wine, and let the staff suggest combinations. It works best as an aperitivo stop before dinner on nearby Carrer de Blai.
