Restaurant
Trèsind Studio
A three-Michelin-star Indian tasting-menu restaurant on Palm Jumeirah, reimagining regional Indian cooking with produce sourced from UAE farms.
A Michelin-starred restaurant run by three Syrian brothers, reinterpreting the flavours of Aleppo and the wider Middle East through set menus.
Orfali Bros is run by three brothers from Aleppo who channel their family's Syrian cooking into something thoroughly modern. The Michelin Guide awards it stars and it appears on the World's 50 Best Restaurants list, yet the dining room inside Wasl 51 Mall in Jumeirah keeps a friendly, unstuffy feel.
Dinner is built around set menus, including the Aromas of Aleppo menu, the OG menu and the longer Voyage menu, which move from inventive takes on mezze to dishes that blend Levantine spice with techniques from elsewhere. Pastry is a real strength, so leave room for dessert. The restaurant is closed on Tuesdays and opens mainly for dinner, with a Sunday lunch service. Book well ahead through the website, especially for weekend evenings.
