Restaurant
Disfrutar
Three-Michelin-star restaurant in the Eixample run by former elBulli chefs Oriol Castro, Eduard Xatruch and Mateu Casañas, serving long, playful tasting menus.
A small Venetian restaurant at the foot of Montjuïc in Poble Sec, cooking the dishes of Venice's home kitchens and bàcari rather than generic Italian fare.
Xemei, Venetian dialect for twins, brings the cooking of Venice to a quiet corner of Poble Sec, below the gardens of Montjuïc. Rather than a broad Italian menu, the focus is on Venetian specialities: seafood, polenta, pasta dishes and the small snacks served in the city's wine bars.
The dining room is compact and informal, which makes it popular with locals, so reserve rather than turning up. It works well for dinner after an afternoon at MNAC or the Fundació Joan Miró, and the terraces and bars of Poble Sec's Carrer de Blai are close by for a drink afterwards.
