Runner Bean Tours
A family-run Barcelona walking tour company founded in 2010, best known for its donation-based Gothic Quarter and Gaudí tours starting from Plaça Reial.
Barcelona's historic harbour boat company, sailing since 1888 from the quay opposite the Columbus Monument on short port and coastal cruises.
Good to know
The Golondrinas, or swallows, have carried passengers around Barcelona's harbour since 1888, and their boats are a familiar sight at the foot of La Rambla. Trips leave from Moll de les Drassanes, opposite the Columbus Monument, and come in two main lengths: a 40-minute circuit of the port and a 60-minute route that heads out along the coast.
It is an easy, inexpensive way to see the city from the water, and the longer trip gives views of the beaches and the waterfront skyline. Combination tickets pair a cruise with sights such as the aquarium or the Maritime Museum. Choose a calm, clear day, and sit on the upper deck for the best views.
