The Jerry Thomas Project
Opened in 2010 by a group of bartenders, this hidden speakeasy off Corso Vittorio Emanuele revives forgotten styles of mixing classic cocktails.
A celebrated cocktail bar in Monti that features on the World's 50 Best Bars list, open nightly with creative drinks and a smart casual dress code.
Good to know
Drink Kong occupies a corner of Piazza di San Martino ai Monti, a short walk from Santa Maria Maggiore, and has become one of the most talked-about cocktail bars in Italy, appearing on the World's 50 Best Bars list. The menu of original cocktails sits alongside wine, spirits and food.
It opens every night from 18:30 to 2:00, with last orders at 1:30. Reservations are taken online for groups of up to six, but not after midnight, so late arrivals should expect to queue. Guests must be 18 or over and the dress code is smart casual. A second venue, Drink Kong Campo Marzio, has its own booking page.
