Restaurant
Sorn
A fine-dining restaurant in a converted house off Sukhumvit 26, devoted to Southern Thai recipes, regional ingredients and traditional cooking methods.
Chef Gaggan Anand's theatrical tasting-menu restaurant, serving progressive Indian cuisine with an emoji menu, ranked third on Asia's 50 Best Restaurants 2026.
Gaggan Anand made his name with playful, boundary-pushing Indian cooking, and his current restaurant on Sukhumvit 31 continues in that spirit. The menu is written in emojis rather than dish names, and diners are encouraged to eat with their hands and, occasionally, to lick the plate. Influences from Thai, Japanese and French cooking run through the courses.
The space is split between G's Spot, a 14-seat chef's table, and Arena G, a dining room set around the open kitchen, where the chef often runs the pass himself. It was ranked number three on Asia's 50 Best Restaurants 2026 and named the best restaurant in Thailand, so reservations are essential and should be made well ahead. Allow a full evening.
