Why we recommend it
Sorn brought the intense, spice-driven cooking of Thailand's south into the fine-dining world, and it has become one of the hardest tables in the city to book. Set in a restored house on a quiet soi, it serves a set menu drawn from regional recipes, local produce and slow, traditional techniques such as charcoal grilling and clay-pot cooking.
There are two menus: a Classic Menu and a Seasonal Menu, which is served only on selected dates before its full launch in early 2027. Expect fiery curries, seafood from the Andaman and Gulf coasts and rice dishes that tie the meal together. Reservations are made online through the website, and the phone line takes enquiries in the afternoon.
