The Mandarin Oriental's historic French dining room, now led by Anne-Sophie Pic and holding two Michelin stars, overlooking the Chao Phraya River.
Good to know
Le Normandie has been the Mandarin Oriental's grand French restaurant for decades, and it is now overseen by Anne-Sophie Pic, the world's most Michelin-starred female chef. Her cooking centres on her signature idea of infusion, layering subtle aromas through sauces, broths and even the drinks pairing.
The dining room looks out over the Chao Phraya and holds two Michelin stars. Lunch and dinner are served from Wednesday to Sunday. The dress code is formal: gentlemen need a jacket at dinner, which the restaurant can provide, and sleeveless shirts are not allowed at any time. Reserve in advance by phone or email, and arrive by the hotel's river shuttle for the full effect.
