Gaggan

A riverside branch of the family-run Supanniga group, serving home-style dishes from Trat and the Northeast with views across to Wat Arun.
Good to know
Supanniga Eating Room is built on family recipes from Trat, on Thailand's eastern seaboard, alongside dishes from Isan in the northeast. The Tha Tien branch, in the Riva Arun hotel on Maharaj Road, adds a river setting, with Wat Arun across the water.
Standouts include moo cha muang, pork belly stewed with sour cowa leaves, a classic of the east, and nam prik khai pu, a spicy crab roe relish served with fresh vegetables. Fried Chinese cabbage in Trat fish sauce and a green curry with Isan wagyu are also popular. It works well for lunch after visiting Wat Pho, and booking ahead is wise for a table by the window at sunset.
