A flower-covered Fuller's pub in Kensington dating from 1750, known for its memorabilia, real ales and long-running Thai kitchen.
Good to know
The Churchill Arms on Kensington Church Street is one of London's most photographed pubs, thanks to the abundance of flowers covering its facade. The pub dates from 1750, and Winston Churchill's grandparents were said to be regulars, which explains the name and the memorabilia crowding the walls and ceiling inside.
It is a Fuller's pub with a good range of real ales, and its Thai kitchen has served regional dishes for more than 35 years, making it an unusual and good-value place for dinner. Food is served from midday until 21:30, or 21:00 on Sundays. Evenings and weekends get packed, so come in the afternoon for a seat. Notting Hill Gate and High Street Kensington stations are both nearby.
