Best Nightlife in Kraków (2026)

Kraków's nightlife is famous for its cellar bars, live jazz and the late-night streets of Kazimierz. In the Old Town, Harris Piano Jazz Bar hosts concerts every day beneath the Main Market Square, and Piec'Art on Szewska Street pairs jazz in a medieval cellar with more than fifty whiskies. Mercy Brown, a hidden 1920s-style speakeasy above a restaurant on Straszewskiego Street, is the place for carefully made cocktails.

Kazimierz has a different character. Alchemia, on the corner of Plac Nowy since 1999, mixes a candlelit bar with a concert hall, while Hevre occupies a former Jewish prayer house with surviving frescoes and pours tank Pilsner Urquell. CiutCiut on Krakowska Street specialises in Georgian wine made in clay qvevri. Many bars stay open until the early hours at weekends. Book tables for concerts, check bills carefully, and remember that the Old Town and Kazimierz are close enough to walk between in around fifteen to twenty minutes.
