Good to know
The King Power Mahanakhon tower, with its pixelated, cut-away façade, is one of Bangkok's tallest buildings, and the SkyWalk on its roof gives a full 360-degree panorama of the city from around 314 metres. The best-known feature is the glass tray that juts out from the edge, letting you stand above the streets far below.
The rooftop also has a bar, so you can linger with a drink as the skyline lights up. Ticket prices vary with the time of day, from 500 to 1,200 baht, and sunset slots are the most popular, so book ahead. Access is via BTS Chong Nonsi station, exit 3. Check the official site for current opening hours, as times can change.
