Hotel
The Savoy
A landmark luxury hotel on the Strand, open since 1889, with Thames views, the American Bar and the Gordon Ramsay Savoy Grill.
The original Hoxton hotel, opened in 2006 near Old Street, with 210 compact-to-roomy bedrooms, a rooftop Peruvian restaurant and a busy lobby.
Good to know
The Hoxton opened in Shoreditch in 2006, helping to define the area's hotel scene, and was refurbished in 2025. Its 210 rooms range from compact Shoebox rooms to larger Roomy options, all with parquet floors and industrial-style finishes, and the lobby works as a café, bar and meeting space for locals as much as guests.
Llama Inn on the rooftop serves modern Peruvian food with city views, while Il Bambini Club offers pizza and pasta. Wi-Fi is free throughout. Booking direct includes Flexy Time early check-in and late check-out, plus free cancellation until 14:00 the day before arrival. There is no hotel parking and the area is within the congestion charge zone, so arrive by public transport: Old Street station is a three-minute walk.
