Attraction
Gardens by the Bay
A 105-hectare waterfront garden at Marina Bay, known for its Supertree Grove, two vast glass conservatories and a free evening light show.
Housed in the former Supreme Court and City Hall buildings, this gallery holds more than 9,000 works of Singaporean and Southeast Asian art.
Good to know
National Gallery Singapore opened in 2015 inside two national monuments facing the Padang, the former Supreme Court and City Hall, now linked by bridges and a shared basement. Its collection of more than 9,000 artworks focuses on modern art from Singapore and Southeast Asia, and the restored courtrooms and council chamber are worth seeing in their own right.
Allow at least half a day, and save time for the rooftop, which looks over the Padang towards Marina Bay. Note that the UOB Southeast Asia Gallery is closed until late 2027, so check what is on before buying an All Access ticket. City Hall MRT station is the closest stop, and the building also houses several restaurants, including Odette.
