Why we recommend it

Le Bain & The Rooftop occupies the top floor of The Standard, High Line, the glass hotel that straddles the High Line in the Meatpacking District. By early evening it is a place for cocktails with wide views over the Hudson River and the West Side skyline, and later on it turns into one of the area's best-known late-night spots.

It is strictly over-21s and is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Doors open at 4pm Wednesday to Friday and 2pm at weekends, and it stays open until 4am on Friday and Saturday nights. Entry is not guaranteed, even for hotel guests, so make an advance reservation where available, especially at weekends.
