Good to know
Opened in 2011, the ArtScience Museum is the lotus-shaped building beside Marina Bay Sands, designed by architect Moshe Safdie. It stages changing exhibitions that blend art, science and technology, alongside its permanent show Future World, an immersive digital installation created with the Japanese art collective teamLab that fills most of the lower galleries.
Entry to the building is free, but exhibitions are ticketed individually, so check the current programme and book online. Family Fridays offer free entry for up to four children under 12 with each adult ticket outside school and public holidays. Afterwards, walk across the Helix Bridge or along the promenade to Merlion Park. Bayfront MRT station is the nearest stop.
