Bar
CÉ LA VI Dubai
A rooftop venue 54 floors up at Address Sky View, combining a modern Asian restaurant, a sky bar and a club lounge with close-up Burj Khalifa…
A cosy Irish pub tucked behind Sheikh Zayed Road since 1996, known for live bands, traditional music sessions and homely pub food.
Good to know
Fibber Magee's has been pouring pints behind Sheikh Zayed Road since 1996 and, despite the towers around it, keeps the relaxed, slightly hidden character of a neighbourhood local. It describes itself as Dubai's best-kept secret, and many regulars would agree.
The appeal is simple: honest pub food, a good range of beers, live bands and traditional Irish music sessions, plus a warm welcome. Fish and chips and shepherd's pie are long-standing favourites. It is a refreshing change from the polished hotel bars that dominate much of the city's nightlife, and a good place to watch a match. The pub is in Saeed Tower 1, a short walk from the World Trade Centre Metro station, and it can be easy to miss from the main road, so allow a few minutes to find the entrance.
