Why we recommend it

Monkey Bar brings the playful style of the 25hours brand to the sixth floor of its One Central hotel, near the Dubai World Trade Centre. The bar has a terrace looking over the surrounding towers and a menu of Nikkei-inspired dishes, the Japanese-Peruvian fusion that pairs well with cocktails.

It is lively without being a nightclub: DJs set the tone in the evenings, and the crowd mixes hotel guests with people heading out after work in the business district. If you prefer something more casual, the same hotel has ERNST, a Bavarian beer garden, and the Juña rooftop shisha lounge. One Central is a short walk from the World Trade Centre Metro station, which makes it an easy first stop before moving on to Downtown or DIFC.
