A Marais crêperie serving Breton galettes made from organic buckwheat with Bordier butter, alongside sweet crêpes and farm ciders.
Good to know
Breizh Café brought a more refined take on the Breton crêperie to Paris, and its Marais address on Rue Vieille du Temple is the one most visitors seek out. Savoury galettes are made with IGP buckwheat flour and Bordier butter, with fillings ranging from the classic ham, egg and cheese complète to more seasonal combinations.
Follow a galette with a butter-and-sugar or salted caramel crêpe and a bowl of farm cider. It is open all day, which makes it a good option for a late lunch between museum visits in the Marais. Tables can be booked online, and booking is wise at weekends; the restaurant also hosts private events.
