ON14 Rooftop Lounge & Bar

ON14 is the rooftop lounge and bar of the Radisson Hotel Colombo, on Clifford Place in the Havelock Town area of Colombo 4. As the name suggests, it sits on the 14th floor, and it is set beside the hotel's infinity pool, with views over the ocean and the city's coastline. It is a more relaxed and casual alternative to the bigger rooftop bars in Fort and Kollupitiya.

The bar keeps long hours, opening every day from 11am until midnight, so it works for a lazy lunch by the pool as well as an evening drink. The drinks menu covers cocktails, signature drinks and beer, and the food leans towards snacks and tapas alongside more substantial international dishes. The hotel describes the mood as relaxing music and good company rather than a club atmosphere.

Happy hour is one of ON14's draws. A 2025 guide to Colombo's rooftop bars lists a daily happy hour from 7pm to 9pm, and the hotel itself encourages guests to ask about its promotions and happy hour deals, which change from time to time. The same guide describes the dress code as casual and says the bar takes reservations and walk-ins, with indoor and outdoor seating.

Sunset is a good time to arrive, to see the coastline in the evening light from beside the pool. It suits couples, groups of friends and travellers staying in the southern part of Colombo who do not want to travel into Fort for a drink. The bar is easy to reach by tuk-tuk. Barefoot's shop and garden café on Galle Road in Colombo 3 are worth combining with an afternoon visit, and the beach at Mount Lavinia, with Loon Tao and the Mount Lavinia Hotel, is further south along the coast if you want to make an evening of the seaside.
