Good to know
Unseen Tours is a not-for-profit social enterprise whose walking tours are led by people with experience of homelessness. Each guide has their own route, currently including London Bridge, King's Cross, Canary Wharf and Brixton and Stockwell, combining local history with personal stories and perspectives you will not hear on a standard sightseeing tour.
Public walks last around two hours and tickets are modestly priced, with concessions and a token price for children with a paying adult. Booking ahead on the website is recommended, as groups are kept small. The organisation also runs private tours, school and university visits and team-building sessions. It is a thoughtful choice for visitors who want to understand the city beyond its landmarks.
