Why we recommend it

Opened in 1889, the Moulin Rouge is the cabaret that made the French cancan famous, and its red windmill on Boulevard de Clichy is a Pigalle landmark. The current revue, Féerie, combines elaborate costumes, large dance numbers and speciality acts in a classic music-hall format.

Tickets are booked through the official reservations site, and the evening can be taken as show only or as the dinner-and-show package that starts at 7pm. Booking well ahead is wise for weekends. Allow time to arrive early, as guests are seated before the show, and check the official FAQ for dress guidance.
