Hotel
Atlantis The Royal
An ultra-luxury resort on the Palm Jumeirah crescent with sky-high pools, a beachfront, signature restaurants and access to the vast Aquaventure waterpark next door.
A 4-star, 172-room hotel opposite Al Fahidi Fort in Bur Dubai, within walking distance of Al Fahidi, Al Seef, the creek and the Deira souks.
Good to know
Arabian Courtyard sits on Al Fahidi Street, directly opposite the Al Fahidi Fort that houses the Dubai Museum, which makes it one of the best-placed hotels for exploring old Dubai on foot. The Al Fahidi Historical Neighbourhood, the Al Seef waterfront and the abra stations for the Gold and Spice Souks are all within a short walk, and Sharaf DG and Al Ghubaiba Metro stations are about 500 metres away.
The 4-star hotel has 172 rooms, including executive rooms, suites and family and accessible rooms, plus a temperature-controlled pool, sauna, health club and spa. There is a bar with live music and a choice of places to eat. It offers solid comfort at a much lower price than the beach resorts, and the airport is only around 6 kilometres away, which helps on short stays.
