Wynn Las Vegas
Luxury resort on the North Strip with Wynn and Encore towers, a Forbes Five-Star spa, the only golf course on the Strip and a wide choice…
Adults-only Downtown resort on Fremont Street, opened in 2020, with the Stadium Swim pool amphitheatre, a three-storey sportsbook and the Legacy Club rooftop lounge.
Good to know
Circa is the newest major resort in Downtown Las Vegas, and it has given Fremont Street a modern landmark. Owned by brothers Derek and Greg Stevens, it opened its casino in October 2020 and its hotel in December 2020, on the former sites of the Las Vegas Club, Mermaids and Glitter Gulch. At 35 floors and 480 feet, it is the tallest building in the Fremont Street area.
Circa is adults only, and guests and visitors must be 21 or over, with the exception of Barry's Downtown Prime steakhouse. That policy shapes the atmosphere, which is lively and geared towards sports fans and groups of friends. The resort has 618 rooms after an expansion in 2024.
The signature feature is Stadium Swim, a rooftop pool amphitheatre above the casino with six pools, two swim-up bars, a DJ booth and a 143-foot screen showing sport and events. It can hold around 4,000 people, and it is at its busiest on big game days. The three-storey, stadium-style sportsbook seats around 1,000 people in front of a huge screen and is billed by Circa as the world's largest. The Legacy Club rooftop lounge has busts of 11 prominent Las Vegas figures and a display of 500 gold bars, and it bills itself as the place for golden hour. In the lobby, the restored Vegas Vickie cowgirl sign from Glitter Gulch watches over a cocktail lounge named after her.
Dining includes Barry's Downtown Prime, Saginaw's Delicatessen, Victory Burger, 8 East and Project BBQ, with bars including the Mega Bar and the Overhang Bar. Guests park across the street at the nine-storey Garage Mahal, connected by an air-conditioned skybridge.
Stadium Swim is popular on big sporting days, so check Circa's website for event days and seating options if you want a spot with a view of the screen.
Circa suits couples and groups of adults, sports fans and anyone who wants a modern hotel with Downtown's character. It is not suitable for families with children. The resort sits at the western end of the Fremont Street Experience, so the canopy, the stages and the classic casinos are on the doorstep, and The Mob Museum is a short walk away. The Strip is a short taxi or ride-share ride south.
