Wynn Las Vegas
Luxury resort on the North Strip with Wynn and Encore towers, a Forbes Five-Star spa, the only golf course on the Strip and a wide choice…
Luxury resort on the North Strip that opened in December 2023 in Nevada's tallest building, with more than 3,600 rooms, a large pool deck, Lapis Spa and the LIV nightclub.
Good to know
Fontainebleau Las Vegas is the newest major luxury resort on the Strip, and it opened after one of the longest stories in the city's construction history. Work began in 2007, stalled in 2009 when the project was around 70 per cent complete, and the tower stood unfinished for more than a decade before developer Jeff Soffer bought it back and completed it. The resort finally opened on 13 December 2023. Its 67-storey, 737-foot tower is the tallest building in Nevada, excluding The STRAT's observation tower.
The resort has more than 3,600 rooms and suites, from Bleau, Gold and Platinum rooms to a range of suites and the Fleur de Lis Suites and Penthouses on the top floors. Fontainebleau describes itself as the only Las Vegas resort and casino with a MICHELIN Key, awarded in 2025 and 2026. For many visitors, simply seeing the finished tower after years as an unfinished shell on the skyline is part of the appeal.
Facilities are extensive. The pool deck covers around six acres and includes several pools, cabanas and daybeds, and LIV Beach is the resort's dayclub. The award-winning Lapis Spa and Wellness offers treatments, a fitness centre, a hair salon and an IV lounge. More than 30 restaurants, lounges and cafés include Cantina Contramar, Don's Prime, Papi Steak and Komodo, with La Côte, The Tavern and Vida for something more casual and a food hall for quick meals. At night, LIV nightclub is one of the city's major clubs, and the BleauLive Theater hosts concerts.
Fontainebleau suits couples, groups of friends and anyone who wants a new, stylish resort with plenty of nightlife. It is also popular with conference visitors, as it is close to the Las Vegas Convention Center and has extensive meeting space. Prices are at the top of the range, and rates rise when major events are on, so book early.
The resort is on the North Strip, between The STRAT and the Wynn complex. The Center Strip is a short taxi or ride-share away, and the Las Vegas Convention Center is close by. Staying here means slightly more travel to the Center Strip sights, but Downtown and the Arts District are closer than from the middle of the Strip.
