Good to know
The Standard, High Line rises on concrete stilts above the High Line in the Meatpacking District, and its floor-to-ceiling windows give rooms broad views of the Hudson River or the Manhattan skyline. It is a lively, design-led base with plenty happening on site.
The Standard Grill serves a steakhouse-meets-New American menu at street level, the Biergarten sits beneath the High Line with beer, pretzels and games, and Le Bain & The Rooftop on the top floor is a popular over-21s spot for sunset cocktails. Note that hotel guests are not guaranteed entry to the rooftop, so reserve ahead if you can.
