Ray’s Bar
A cocktail bar on level 62 of Conrad Abu Dhabi Etihad Towers, with views over the Corniche, the Gulf and Emirates Palace, inventive drinks and live…
A two-floor Japanese, Brazilian and Peruvian restaurant and lounge at Conrad Abu Dhabi Etihad Towers, with sea views and live entertainment from DJs, dancers and musicians.
Good to know
SUSHISAMBA Abu Dhabi brings the international brand's mix of Japanese, Brazilian and Peruvian food to Conrad Abu Dhabi Etihad Towers, and it is as much a night out as a restaurant. Spread across two floors on the podium level of the towers, with views of the sea, it is built around live entertainment, with DJs, dancers and musicians creating a party atmosphere as the evening goes on.
The menu brings Japanese, Brazilian and Peruvian cooking together, and the best way to approach it is to share several dishes around the table. You can come for a full dinner or simply for drinks and a few plates while the entertainment gets going.
The venue suits groups of friends, celebrations and couples who want a lively evening with dinner and entertainment in one place. Prices are high, in line with the setting, and the dress code at venues of this kind is smart, so dress up rather than down. The minimum legal drinking age in the UAE applies to alcohol. Booking ahead is strongly recommended at weekends, when the entertainment is at its liveliest, and you should check the current schedule of DJs and performances with the hotel when you reserve.
Etihad Towers, a group of five skyscrapers completed in 2011, stands directly opposite Emirates Palace at the western end of the Corniche. Tower 1 houses the Conrad, which reopened under that name in October 2020. Within the same complex you will find Ray's Bar on level 62 for cocktails with a view, José by Pizarro and Li Beirut, both listed in the Michelin Guide Abu Dhabi 2026, and the Observation Deck at 300 near the top of Tower 2. That makes it easy to build a whole evening here: sunset drinks high up, dinner and entertainment at SUSHISAMBA, then a nightcap.
A taxi is the simplest way to arrive and leave, particularly if you are drinking. Qasr Al Watan and the Corniche are nearby for daytime sightseeing, so you can combine a visit to the presidential palace with an evening here. If you want a quieter meal first, the other restaurants in the towers give you options before the entertainment starts.
